Twenty year old Joseph Bale of Budo Juku Martial Art School Bridgwater stepped into the kickboxing ring on Sat 8^th Dec. to face Luke Green of Weston Super Mare. Joe took the fight at short notice when Luke’s original opponent pulled out. Although Joe had beaten Luke earlier in the year on the Bridgwater show Luke has had a couple of more outings since then and has improved somewhat.

    Joe’s performance however was probably his best to date keeping a water tight defence against Luke Green’s strong kicks in the opening round. Joe’s hand speed proved decisive from the start and although he got caught occasionally from Luke’s improved boxing techniques it proved to be too much for his adversary. As the rounds progressed Joe’s attacking punch and kick combinations wore down Luke Green who struggled to maintain the pace and the pressure. Joseph Bale won with a unanimous points decision.
